I believe that great art can be transformative. That it causes a shift in the way we think and feel about the world and each other. And that this work comes about through meaningful collaboration, engagement and play. This is what gets me out of bed in the morning.

I’m a director, theatre maker and creative producer based in Western Australia. I make things both as an artist and project manager. I have directed and created a variety of new theatre works, live performance and opera over my ten-year career. I am proud to be a co-founding artist and inaugural general manager of WA’s prolific theatre company THE LAST GREAT HUNT. Currently, I am the Artistic Director of RIPTIDE YOUTH PERFORMANCE COMPANY and work as a freelance director, theatre maker, creative producer and mentor for other artists and companies.

I was thrilled to work as the assistant director on this work at The Old Vic in London. The Baylis Assistant Director program offers paid employment opportunities for directors to work on large scale new works at The Old Vic.

After winning the 'Best New WA Work Award' at the Fringe World Festival in 2013, this work went on to tour to Edinburgh, Brisbane and Melbourne.

I have achieved significant funding for projects and ongoing annual funding for The Last Great Hunt. Not including in-kind support or box office sales; I have secured almost 1.5 million dollars in government and private support since my career began in 2008. In my various company management roles, I have planned and delivered countless successful new works in Perth and tours around all parts of Australia and the World (including USA and Canada, UK, Turkey, Brazil and Spain).
